How Do Chemical Peels Work?
At your procedure at Desert Medical Rejuvenation, we only apply superficial and medium depth peels, we do not use deep occlusive peels to prevent complications.
The patient will lie down in a relaxed position to administer the treatment. The skin is cleansed before applying the customized solution to the treatment areas. After we spread the solution on the face or other areas, we allow it to work for a specific length of time, which will be discussed during your treatment consultation.
Finally, the peel is washed off your face and the procedure is finished as our peels are self-neutralizing, followed by application of a mineral sunblock. The end result is a shiny glow to your face without any signs of physical damage.
After the procedure, we recommend you wear your sunblock and a hat to avoid UV exposure at all times.
