A filler procedure can be completed in our Rancho Mirage, CA office quickly and with very few risks. As a rule, we apply topical numbing cream for several minutes prior to the procedure, and the whole process becomes very comfortable and tolerable.
However, for those patients with very high levels of anxiety or low levels of tolerance to pain, we offer the use of PRO-NOX®, a device that delivers a mixture of inhaled Oxygen/Nitrous which numbs the patient's sensations for several minutes, enough to allow the doctor to complete the procedure.
