 What is Sculptra® and how does it work? 

SCULPTRA AESTHETIC® is an FDA approved facial injectable designed to restore volume and fullness to the face. Dr. Art Quintanilla at Desert Medical Rejuvenation is CERTIFIED in Sculptra® use and techniques to address signs of aging and volume loss in the cheeks, temples, and jawline. 

Unlike other dermal fillers, Sculptra® works gradually by stimulating your skin's natural collagen production. The main component of Sculptra® is poly-L-lactic acid, which helps replace lost collagen over time. 

Sculptra® is frequently used as an alternative for the treatment of volume loss in those patients who have no interest in using filers; it is a versatile product that can be used on face, hands, décolleté, hips, buttocks and other body areas to improve volume loss with long lasting results of a minimum of 2 years; the treatment typically involves multiple sessions spaced a few weeks apart to achieve optimal results.
